Rigid Aluminum Conduit

RAC metal conduit is the most durable and rugged type of metallic conduit. It has the heaviest and thickest walls, making it suitable for routing and protecting conductors in areas that could be exposed to abuse, as well as outdoors and in direct-burial applications. This conduit can also provide structural support for electrical cable, panels, and other equipment. RAC has one threaded male end and one threaded female connector. Uncoupled ends are covered by industry color-coded thread protectors, which keep them clean and sharp and aid in trade size recognition
