Product Description

HANYSEN Produce Set-screw Conduit Body and Threaded Type Conduit Body to meet difference Pipes. Conduit bodies allow electricians to change the direction the raceway travels. The conduit body acts as a joint, allowing the raceway to bend and project in a different direction. An electrician feeds wire through a hole on one end and out of another.

 

Set-screw Aluminum Conduit Bodies
 

Hanysen set-screw conduit bodies with stamped cover and gasket are commonly used for electrical service entrance wires or as an economical convenience box when extra wire capacity is needed. They are attached to rigid plain or EMT conduits when a change of direction is required. The removable cover makes general maintenance and wire pulling and feed through easy and convenient. Hanysen threaded conduit bodies save time and money by eliminating costly bending of large conduits in order to change the directions of conduit runs. Installers can easily bend wires into the smooth turns. Their powder-coated finish and water-tight gasket ensure a weatherproof installation.

Applications:

Conduit bodies are junctures that connect the protective raceways that transport electrical wire between destinations. There are multiple types of conduit bodies, each redirecting wires in a unique way.
Provides access to the interior of the raceway for wire pulling , splicing and maintenance, Allows connection of straight and branch conduit runs and 90 degree bends. Conduit bodies can be attached to either Rigid conduit, IMC or EMT when it is necessary to correct or change the direction of conduit runs.
